Creating a Private AKS Cluster with Azure Application Gateway
As businesses increasingly move their operations to the cloud, security and reliability remain top priorities. To achieve these goals, many companies are turning to private cloud solutions, such as Azure AKS clusters, which provide enhanced control over data security and network access. In this post, I will explain how I used a private Azure AKS cluster to deploy and run a NextJS application, ensuring the security and reliability of the app’s performance.
Iaas Web Application in Azure
I created an IaaS-based web application architecture that includes front-end and back-end elements, such as Linux servers and a Postgres database. The architecture also incorporates security and scalability aspects, including firewalls, SSL/TLS encryption, load balancing, and resource optimization techniques. The front-end elements include the user interface, web server, and application logic, while the back-end elements include the database and server-side application code. The architecture is designed to provide a robust and scalable infrastructure that can support high traffic volumes while ensuring security and protection against potential threats.
High Availability WordPress Website in AWS Cloud
I created a high availability WordPress website on AWS using Elastic Beanstalk and CloudFront for security. The architecture has a front-end for the web tier and a back-end for the data tier, providing a reliable and scalable infrastructure for optimal performance.
Serverless Web Architecture in Azure
I created a serverless file upload web app for invoices that utilizes Azure Blob and Azure Web Services for the application, as well as Functions and Logic App to perform different tasks. The architecture includes security measures, such as Azure Front Door and a Web Application Firewall, to protect against potential threats.
The serverless infrastructure of the app ensures flexibility and scalability, enabling it to handle high traffic volumes without compromising performance or reliability. The app provides an efficient and secure solution for businesses seeking to streamline their invoicing process.
Static Web Hosting with S3 & Route53
Hosting a static web app on the AWS cloud using an S3 bucket to store the application can provide a reliable and scalable infrastructure that is both simple and cost-effective. I recently deployed a static web app using this approach and leveraged the power of Github Actions to automate code pushes to the S3 bucket.
By using S3 to store the application, I was able to take advantage of its high scalability and availability, making it an ideal solution for hosting static websites. With Github Actions, deploying and updating the app was made even easier, providing a seamless development experience.
Overall, hosting a static web app on AWS using an S3 bucket and Github Actions is a convenient and efficient solution that requires minimal setup and maintenance.

Along with my passion in technology, I do photography at a hobby level. I enjoy shooting portraits, landscapes, and nature. To capture the subject perfetly, is keeps me passionate to producing fine photography.
Having had the opportunity to visit new places has expanded my world view in remarkable ways. With travel experiences spanning nearly 10 countries across three continents, I have gained a deeper understanding of diverse cultures.
